Happy Sunday!  At the Model Home at Dickinson Creek.  Wow, how enlightened can You get in one moment.  After speaking with Brian Lessard the builder, I noticed his passion for building homes. 

I hear alot of people coming in taking about other developments and pricing.  Yes the bottom line is important, but will You sacrifice quality, comfort, and security?

Knowing that alot of developments are dropping their prices, what are they sacrificing to get You that price?  Don't forget you need good quality construction to keep other costs down in the long run, such as - electric, gas, water, sewer.  The length of life for the Home and price appreciation

Remember when buying a Home, compare.  There are alot of homes out there for sale, we might be a little more expensive, but stop by and see what we offer.

With Interest Rates still very low and lenders starting to slowly open there purse strings, it's time to get off the fence.  Whether You are looking for your first Home, retirement home, vacation home, or investment properties, now is the time.

After monitoring some of the Foreclosed properties that have come on the market it seems the banks, or some of them, have streamlined there operations.  I noticed it only took one of the banks to buy back a Home at sheriff's sale and turn it around in less than 60 days.  Now the process of negotiating with the bank may still be a long process, it can be done.  It seems that title issues or properties that permits were not obtained seem to be the sticky ones.

With the holiday season fast approaching we will be working our new construction sites, taking off a few days to spend with our families, but will be there to answer any questions You might have.

Decided to give You a little of my point of view.  Being from Delaware all my life, I can happily I wouldn't live anywhere else.  Recently I was standing in line at the grocery store.  The young lady behind me saw my name badge, her first question (with a rather sad look on her face), "How is the Real Estate Market."  My answer to her kinda of stunned her.  Saying "The Real Estate Market is great, I'm busy, my phone is ringing off the hook."

She looked at me rather surprised, "Really?!".  At that point I explained to her how the Real Estate Market has fluctuated through the years but Real Estate is always a great investment in your future.  People need a place to live. 

Yes the media has speculated that all housing markets are down, that is far from the truth.  Each market share it different.  Granted we are down a little, but look at the past 100 years, we are up and down, just like the stock market.

The truth is with Mortgage rates lower than they have ever been and homes being sold everyday, we are fine.  Yes mortgage guidelines have changed, but isn't that expected?  Rates have changed for the better, I can remember when rates were at 11%, hard to imagine, but very true.

As a country I think we should all come together work with each other.  Patronize a business in your area to keep our communities strong.

With spring fast approaching and I am sure we are all ready for it.  Record amounts of snow have kept everyone inside and with the sun shining we are all getting the fever. 

Wanted to update You on our new development Dickinson Creek in Frederica, Delaware.  With 67 lots to chose from, 3 acre recreation area, street lights, sidewalks and lots backing to woods and stream, we are just about ready for our Grand Opening. 

7 models to chose from an a builder who has been in our area for 3 generations, the development promises to sell quickly.
